FC Porto has secured a €15 million boost, which will be used to enhance the Estádio do Dragão. This amount, stemming from the agreement with Ithaka for the stadium's commercial exploitation, is crucial for easing the club's treasury and stimulating infrastructure investments. The agreement, inherited by the current management, has been improved after negotiations that could raise the total value to €100 million, depending on EBITDA targets. With this, Porto is taking a significant step in modernizing its stadium, which has already undergone improvements in lighting and the creation of new premium areas. In this pre-season, the club plans to further increase hospitality capacity, moving from four to nine distinct concepts, focusing on complete experiences for fans. Additionally, Porto is preparing the stadium to be one of the venues for the 2030 World Cup, with plans to replace the roof and improve services and technologies. The creation of bars with AiFi technology promises to offer an innovative experience to visitors, while the Associate Store has been modernized and relocated. With growing demand, the premium boxes sold out before the end of last season, highlighting the need for more investments in this segment.
