FC Porto has released video footage of the altercation that led to two dismissals from the technical area during the derby against Benfica. The club shared the clips on Monday, showing the first-half incident that resulted in the expulsion of Porto team manager Rui Correia and Benfica assistant coach Ricardo Rocha.
The Dragons also made available video of the Benfica bench's behaviour during the second half. In that period, Marco Silva and Bednarek had a more «heated» conversation.
The incident took place in the match Porto won 3-1 at the Estádio do Dragão last Saturday, a result that solidifies the team's lead at the top of the Primeira Liga with 21 points. The team has scored 21 goals in 8 matches, averaging over 2.5 per game, and is in excellent form with five consecutive league wins. The next fixture sees the blue and whites travel to Madeira to face Marítimo on October 10th.
