FC Porto travels to Czech Republic to face Viktoria Plzen in the Europa League. Francesco Farioli promotes two surprises in the call-up list, calling the young players Gabriel Brás and André Miranda.

Who are the call-ups?

The two players from the B team also participated in the morning training session at Olival before departing. Note also the inclusion of Zaidu, who is back in Farioli's options after being absent while serving the Nigerian national team in the African Nations Cup.

What's at stake?

In reverse, and because they are not registered in the Europa League, Thiago Silva and Oskar Pietuszewski remained in the city of Porto. Also, the young Spanish player Ángel Alarcón, who has already been used in two games this season in the European competition, was left out of the call-up list for technical reasons, as well as the Argentine midfielder Tomás Pérez.

What is Porto's objective?

The FC Porto delegation will arrive in the next few hours in the Czech city and will carry out the usual activities scheduled by UEFA. At around 18:30 (Portugal Continental time), the Porto players will take to the pitch at the Doosan Arena, with no training session planned, and half an hour later a player, yet to be designated, will accompany Francesco Farioli at the press conference.
