Porto will hold their pre-season training in England, at St. George's Park, ahead of the 2026/27 season. The training will take place in Burton upon Trent, where the team will use the facilities that serve as the headquarters of the English national team.
What is St. George's Park?
The National Football Centre of the FA was inaugurated in 2012 and has been serving as the home of the various English national teams. The centre has 12 world-class training pitches, with natural grass and artificial surfaces.
Why is it important for Porto?
Francesco Farioli will have top-notch facilities to prepare the team for the 2026/27 season. The team will be fighting to defend their title and make a good impression on their return to the UEFA Champions League.
What comes next?
The pre-season of the blues and whites starts on July 1st at the CTFD Jorge Costa, in Olival. A few days later, the Porto delegation will head to England.
