Porto welcomed 14 young Italian players at the PortoGaia Training and Sports Formation Center, providing an unforgettable experience with the technical team and main squad athletes. The young Italians, selected at a FC Porto World Camp in Italy, were able to interact with the athletes and technical team of the club, where they were received by their compatriot Francesco Farioli. The FC Porto World Camps have brought together thousands of children from FC Porto season after season, allowing the club to spread its training methodology all over the planet. Just last year, the World Camps hosted 1,500 participants from 12 nationalities. The Youth Football Tours, on the other hand, allow these thousands of foreign young people to experience memorable experiences at FC Porto's facilities. The relationship with the Italian public has been one of the club's big bets, with 23 World Camps organized in Italy, involving over 1,300 participants. In 2024, the 11 camps took place in cities like Naples, Benevento, Rome, Verona, Tuscany, Misano Adriatico, Rivisondoli, Sestola, and Sicily. In addition to these numbers, there are also two Coaching Clinics, training sessions promoted by FC Porto Football Sciences, held in Italy and which have already trained over 100 local coaches in the blue and white methodology.
