FC Porto became the national champion of initiated players by winning the competition with one match left in the 2025/26 sports season. This achievement marks a historic full sweep in Portuguese football, as the club has already won the senior, junior, and youth titles. In the 17th and penultimate round of the qualifying phase, Porto knew they needed just three points to secure the title, and Belenenses' victory over Sporting, 1-3, sealed the celebration. However, Porto also did their part, defeating Alverca 1-2, despite facing challenges during the match. Even with a numerical disadvantage, the team led by Manuel Prata Ferreira did not falter and secured victory with a goal from Tiago Portugal. With this win, Porto leads the table with 41 points, six ahead of Sporting, and becomes the only club to win the senior, junior, youth, and initiated titles in the same season. This feat has been achieved by Porto on three other occasions, in the 1985/86, 1997/98, and now in 2025/26.
