FC Porto strengthened its leadership in the under-15 title chase by beating Vitória 3-2 in Guimarães, a day after Benfica's heavy defeat in Braga (1-4). The win came on the back of a crucial opportunity for the dragons to gain more advantage in the title chase. In a closely contested match, the portistas held on to win after Vitória de Guimarães reduced the deficit to 2-3 at 67 minutes. The three points allowed FC Porto to maintain its lead in the classification and get closer to achieving the national title. Also, Sporting completed its mission in this round, beating Estoril 3-1, returning to wins after suffering a defeat in the derby of the previous round. With four rounds to go and a decisive FC Porto-Benfica match scheduled for the last round, the blues and whites now have a three-point lead over Sporting and four over Benfica and SC Braga.
