FC Porto president André Villas-Boas thanked fans for renewing 96% of season tickets and expressed gratitude for the loyalty of the Portistas.
'About 96% of season tickets were renewed. The remaining 1,000 tickets were taken by fans who were waiting in line. Even in sectors where we expected more sensitivity, the renewal rates remained very close to the overall average. These numbers confirm what we all feel: the Estádio do Dragão is more than just the home of FC Porto. It's a lived, desired, defended, and felt space by thousands of Portistas.', Villas-Boas said.
'This message wouldn't be complete without a word of appreciation for the fans who couldn't renew this year. Each vacant seat carries a story. Often, a long story that began in the Antas, traversed decades of the Dragão, and is tied to a family, a group of friends, a routine, and a memory of life. We don't look at these seats as empty spaces quickly filled by the waiting list. We look at each one with respect, with pain, and with the awareness that, in many cases, those who didn't renew didn't do so out of lack of love for FC Porto, but because life doesn't always allow us to choose our heart. FC Porto doesn't take this indifference lightly. We are a Club of Members, and being a member means recognizing those who continue, welcoming those who arrive, and not forgetting those who, due to difficulty or circumstance, couldn't maintain a connection built over so many years. These Portistas continue to be part of this house. The trust demonstrated obliges us to do more and better. The Estádio do Dragão is changing with a clear objective: to serve better our Members and Supporters. The deep renovation of hospitality and restaurant services, comfort, and experience on match days is part of this commitment. We want a Dragão that is more modern, more functional, and more prepared for the future, without losing the identity that makes it unique.
Dear Members, Dear Portistas, The 2026/27 season is about to start, after the desired return home, with the presentation of the team for the new season. With the Supertaça and the start of the league on the horizon, this is the moment to join our forces for a single objective: make FC Porto the new era, a true Porto of Honor.
In this sense, the first response was given in a brilliant way by our Members, during the process of renewing and acquiring season tickets. It was a response that pleased us, moved us, and, above all, made us responsible.
